Press Release – Apothecary Products^® Expands Consumer Health Portfolio with Acquisition of Santa Barbara Medco

December 17, 2015, Burnsville, Minnesota – Apothecary Products LLC, a leading innovator, manufacturer, marketer, and distributor of consumer healthcare products and pharmacy supplies, has acquired St. Paul, Minnesota-based Santa Barbara Medco LLC (SBM) from Summit Medical, LLC. The acquisition closed on December 16, 2015.

SBM develops, manufactures and markets its Physicians’ Choice® brand of Ear products for both medical professionals and consumers. SBM’s broad range of products include ear wax removals, foam ear plugs, ear drops, ear putty ear plugs, neoprene head bands and ear healthy dietary protections. SBM was founded in 1980 and was originally based in Santa Barbara, California.
