APL Accounting Team 2024

Apothecary Products Accounting Team Members Named April 2024 Recipients of The Noble Award Program

We’d like to congratulate the members of our Accounting Team for recently being selected as recipients of The Noble award program!

Apothecary Products (APL) launched The Noble award program in early 2024 to recognize the contributions of teams who through their work activities:

  • Demonstrated superior performance and/or contribution which positively impacted APL
  • Exemplified outstanding collaboration inspiring to others
  • Showcased APL’s WE CARE value system and business core competencies in a matter for which is admirable to others

APL’s Executive Team is responsible for the nomination and selection of this award. They selected the Accounting Team to recognize their outstanding contribution and collaboration on 2023 year-end close and financial audit activities.

“The year-end close process is the culmination of a yearlong focus on complete and accurate financial reporting, covering tens of thousands of transactions which cross these individuals’ desks annually. The Accounting Team, with cross-functional support across the organization, navigated this process flawlessly, achieving all key deadlines. Not only did this group of individuals complete all requests on time, but they finished the audit without any audit findings for the 9th consecutive year. The team’s diligence allowed the auditors to complete the audit weeks before we typically do.”

Apothecary Products Continuous Giving Scholarship Recipients Named

Apothecary Products is thrilled to share Amira Mohamed and Gayle Cederberg have been named 2024 recipients of its $2500 scholarship program, a scholarship awarded based on students exhibiting exemplary community stewardship.

Amira, relative of Aisha Ali, Warehouse Specialist for Apothecary Products, is a senior at Lakeville South High School who will be pursuing an undecided major at a local university this fall. Amira’s commitment to supporting her community has occurred throughout high school career where she has actively leveraged her multilanguage skills as a bridge to link people from different areas, backgrounds, and cultures. Fluent in six languages (Spanish, Arabic, Urdu, Somali, Swahili, and English), she has actively promoted community-based initiatives that promote linguistic diversity furthering the voice and perspectives of non-native English speakers by serving as an interpreter and translator. In her essay submission, Amiar shared “I’m dedicated to using my language abilities and cultural awareness to advance inclusivity, empathy, and teamwork, whether it be through fostering communication, providing direction and support, or actively participating in community groups. As I pursue my academic and personal goals, I’ll always be committed to creating welcoming environments where a range of viewpoints are acknowledged and celebrated in order to strengthen the bonds that bind the world’s communities together.”

Gayle, relative of Lynn Cederberg, Quality Manager for Injection Molding Solutions (Wisconsin based manufacturing location of Apothecary Products), will be a first-year student at Century College this coming fall pursuing advanced education in Radiology. Gayle too began her commitment to supporting her community in high school as a member of the National Honor Society, which enabled her ability to volunteer at numerous community events. Gayle had a leadership role in the execution of three Red Cross Blood drives over the past year and her volunteerism extended further including traveling to Anchorage, Alaska, where she brought much need attention and care for a local houseless community. Gayle shared in her essay submission, “My community has done so much for me, my school, and many of the school’s programs. Service gives me the ability to help others and possibly even change lives.”

We wish Amira, Gayle, and all the applicants success in their academic endeavors and thank all applicants for their role in building a better community.

Introducing “The Noble”

Recognizing and celebrating the contributions of our team members on a regular basis are vital components to Apothecary Products’ strategic initiative to sustain a positive employer of choice environment people want to be part of. Last month, the company launched The Noble award program recognizes the contributions of a team who through their work activities:

  • Demonstrated superior performance and/or contribution which positively impacted the company
  • Exemplified outstanding collaboration inspiring to others
  • Showcased our WE CARE value system and business core competencies in a matter for which is admirable to others

We would like to congratulate members of our Supply Chain Planning team for their outstanding contribution and collaboration, being selected as recipients of this award in January. Recipients receive a certificate of merit and their choice of The Noble branded item.

Why This Recognition Program Is Named The Noble:

Apothecary Products was founded and began selling a unique line of medication management products in 1975 under the leadership of Terry Noble, a pharmacist and entrepreneur.  Mr. Noble tirelessly collaborated with individuals and other small businesses to grow product offerings and achieve company growth, until he retired in 2014. Many of the products Apothecary Products sells today are inspired by his legacy for which we wish to honor in part through the naming of this program. Additionally, the word “noble” is defined in the dictionary as “having, showing, or coming from personal qualities that people admire”. With every presentation of this award program, the Apothecary Products Executive Team seeks to reenforce the admirable characteristics this program highlights.
