Meritorious Service and Achievement Award – June 2020

At our June virtual all-team meeting, Apothecary Products (APL) President + CEO, Nathan Hanson, awarded the first ever recipients of the Meritorious Service and Achievement Award to Kristine Clausen, Director of HR, and Timothy Smalstig, Director of Operations. This is the highest honor awarded at APL and recognizes individuals for meritorious service and achievement in furthering and supporting APL’s vision, mission, Board, Executive Leadership, and APL team members as a whole. The recipients received a framed embossed certificate of merit and a monetary award.

Kristine Clausen demonstrated exceptional leadership, sound judgment and devotion to all APL team members during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through her selfless commitment, tireless efforts and unrivaled technical expertise, APL was able to enhance productivity and overall team member morale through the darkest days of the crisis as new staffing measures, safety procedures and governmental policies were flawlessly monitored, evaluated and proactively implemented.

Timothy Smalstig demonstrated exceptional leadership, sound judgment and selfless service to all APL team members and the customers it serves during the COVID-19 pandemic. His selfless commitment and sound, tireless leadership were instrumental in successfully meeting customer demand while rapidly implementing new work structures and safety procedures that have maintained a safe and productive on-site operation with no shutdowns through the darkest days of the crisis.
